B1 / B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) or (AME)

ASL Airlines Australia is seeking either a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) or Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our Melbourne Line Maintenance Department.

ASLA currently operates an all jet engine fleet, including the B and flexible passenger and cargo variants of the BAe146.  The ASLA team consists of 150 passionate and experienced employees who operate from our bases in Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne and Sydney.

In addition to ASLA's domestic freighter network, ASL Airlines New Zealand is excited to announce that our second BCF has arrived and is enhancing our capacity to deliver freight across Auckland, Christchurch, Melbourne, and Sydney.

Potential type training provided.

• This role will initially specialise in BAe 146.
• Ongoing training and development for the right applicant.
• BAe 146 and 737NG type rating a considerable advantage.

Qualifications & experience

• Experienced B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a sound knowledge of the Civil Aviation Regulations.
• Documentation, certificates and training evidence in accordance with CASA regulations.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Perform inspection, rectification, maintenance, and certification on Pionair aircraft and equipment, as per manufacturer's and company's specifications to a very high standard.
• Provide positive and supportive supervision of staff under your direct control.
• Ensure timely and correct certification of all work carried out.
• Comply with company Safety Management System.
• Comply with all company training and compliance requirements.
