The role

We are seeking an experienced AC Electrician/ Marine Electrician to join our team at Ocean Electrics' in Coomera, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality electrical services for both residential and commercial properties, with a focus on marine applications.

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems, including lighting, power circuits, switchboards and other electrical equipment
  • Provide expert advice and technical support to customers on electrical issues, particularly in the marine industry
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards, adhering to relevant regulations and codes of practice
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
  • Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken and materials used
  • Collaborate with the wider team to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies

What we're looking for

  • Qualified electrician with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the electrical industry, preferably with a focus on marine applications
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including a deep understanding of wiring, circuits, and electrical code requirements
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and devise innovative solutions
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Commitment to safety and a strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team
