About the role

MODEC Management Services Pte Ltd is seeking a Production Operations Technician (Process, Topsides & Utilities) to join our team. This is a 12-month fixed term contract, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Pyrenees Venture FPSO.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate and monitor process, topsides and utilities equipment to maintain safe and efficient production
  • Perform routine checks, maintenance and troubleshooting on process equipment, control systems and utility systems
  • Identify and resolve operational issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain detailed records of operations, production data and equipment performance
  • Adhere to all safety, environmental and quality procedures and policies
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational efficiencies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Relevant technical qualifications in Process Operations (Cert IV Process Plant Operations)
  • Previous Production experience related to FPSO operations or allied industries
  • Strong working knowledge of process control systems, SCADA and PLC programming
  • Central Control Room experience will be highly regarded
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a safety-critical environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
