Full-time Scheduler - Planner
to join our dynamic team in
Griffith
.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the scheduling of production activities. By coordinating closely with internal departments and external customers, you'll ensure the timely and accurate flow of orders through the factory—supporting our commitment to delivering on-time, in-full, and to-spec.
As a Scheduler - Planner at MCC, you'll play a critical role in aligning production schedules with customer requirements and operational targets, driving efficiency, quality, and exceptional service.
In This Exciting And Varied Role, You Will
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer deadlines and DIFOT expectations.
- Monitor daily scheduling, resolving conflicts or delays through proactive communication and problem-solving.
- Allocate jobs to suitable press technologies based on label specifications, materials, and production efficiency.
- Liaise with Production Managers to align schedules with operational capacity, labour availability, and performance targets.
- Engage in planning and customer support functions as required.
- Communicate accurate lead times and delivery schedules, adjusting plans to accommodate changes or constraints.
- Identify delivery risks early and collaborate with Services to implement proactive solutions.
- Support continuous improvement by participating in process reviews and recommending efficiency enhancements.
About You
- Previous experience as a scheduler - planner or similar role preferably in the print manufacturing industry
- Proficient in relevant software including MS Office Suite.
- Experience in planning scheduling software
- High level of maturity and credibility to influence others and build/maintain strong internal and external relationships.
- Keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a proactive approach.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills & strong problem-solving abilities.
