We pride ourselves on efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction, and we're looking for a highly motivated Bulk Tanker Scheduler to join our Operations team.

Role Overview:

The Bulk Tanker Scheduler is responsible for planning and coordinating the loading and dispatching of bulk tankers to ensure timely delivery while optimizing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, scheduling, and operational workflows, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule daily bulk tanker loading operations in alignment with customer requirements and delivery deadlines.
• Coordinate with drivers, dispatch teams, and loading facilities to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor and adjust schedules based on changes in demand, delays, or operational constraints.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards during all loading activities.
• Maintain clear communication with customers regarding delivery times, delays, or issues.
• Track and analyse operational data to improve scheduling efficiency and address bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with supply chain, production, and logistics teams to align scheduling with broader business goals.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous Experience: Proven experience in logistics, transportation scheduling, or operations, preferably in a bulk transport or industrial setting.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with computers & Emails. Advanced skills in Excel are a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate and address scheduling conflicts or operational challenges promptly.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in managing schedules, tracking loads, and maintaining accurate records.
• Understanding of Regulations: Knowledge of safety, environmental, and transport regulations related to bulk tanker operations.
• Flexibility: Adaptability to handle dynamic and fast-paced environments, including on-call availability for urgent schedule changes.
• Team Player: A collaborative mindset with a commitment to supporting team goals and ensuring customer satisfaction.
