Machine Operator – Day Shift (Pinkenba)

Could you be the next Machine Operator to join us?

We're looking for an experienced and reliable Machine Operator to join the team at a leading steel manufacturing facility in Pinkenba. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone who enjoys operating heavy machinery, working as part of a team, and taking pride in quality workmanship.

You'll be working on the seal line – a manual bend and rolling machine that requires precision, focus, and good mechanical understanding. Training and cross-skilling opportunities are provided for the right person.

What you'll be doing

  • Operating and monitoring heavy manufacturing machinery (seal line – bend and rolling machines)
  • Performing manual handling tasks with precision and care
  • Ensuring products meet quality and production standards
  • Assisting with material loading/unloading as required
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area at all times
  • Supporting team operations and being open to cross-training across departments

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Machine Operator (manufacturing or steel industry preferred)
  • Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential for experienced operators)
  • Mechanically minded with strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and handle varied tasks on the floor
  • Team player with a strong commitment to safety and quality
  • Australian working rights
