Casual Music Tutor - Piano, Voice, Violin and/or Guitar

Location: Penrith & Springwood studios

Hourly Rate: $ $38.00 per hour plus superannuation

We are seeking enthusiastic and versatile music tutors to join our growing team on a casual basis. This role is ideal for musicians who are passionate about teaching and enjoy working with beginner to intermediate students in a supportive and creative environment.

About the Role

• Hours: Variable each week, with shifts scheduled:
• Weekdays: Between 3:30 PM – 7:00 PM
• Saturdays: Between 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
• Shifts will primarily take place during school terms, with occasional opportunities during holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach private lessons in Piano, Singing, Guitar, and/or Violin at a beginner to intermediate level
• Maintain weekly progress notes for each student
• Occasionally film lesson content or short videos for marketing and social media

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about music education and student growth
• Friendly, reliable, and confident working with young learners
• Organised, professional, and a good communicator
• Open to feedback and committed to continual improvement

Requirements

• Minimum AMEB Grade 5 (or equivalent) in your primary instrument
• Vocal applicants must also be able to teach a second instrument (either Piano or Guitar)
• A valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Availability within the required shift windows
