That's Amore Cheese is a leading producer of authentic Italian-style cheese, located in Thomastown, Melbourne. Our artisanal cheeses are crafted using traditional methods and high-quality Australian milk, resulting in delicious products that are loved by customers. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our production team as Machine Operators. In this role, you will play a vital part in the cheese-making process, ensuring the quality and consistency of our products while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

As a Machine Operator, you will operate and maintain food processing equipment, ensuring production runs efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The role will also involve general production work and cleaning duties as required in a food manufacturing environment and the ability to lead a team.

The role is full-time hours from Monday to Friday.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Shift start time 7:30am
  • Operate and monitor production machinery
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues
  • Ensure machines run efficiently and safely
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas in line with food safety standards
  • Follow production schedules and maintain quality standards
  • Assist with production work, including packing and handling products

  • Ability to lift 15-20 kg
