Uniting Communities are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring person to join our team as an Enrolled Nurseon a casual basis at Glenelg and Felixstow. Reporting to the Clinical Care Manager you will provide compassionate and high-quality support and assistance to our residents to make a real difference in their lives whilst supporting the resident's right to choice, independence and dignity.
Glenelg - part time, PM shifts availableFelixstow - Casual shifts available
About you
You will bring the following to this position.
- Current and ongoing Nursing registration with AHRRA
- At least 12 months experience as an Enrolled Nurse (Or previous Aged Care Experience)
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and all levels of staff
- Previous experience in Residential Aged Care is highly regarded
Responsibilities and Duties
- Providing personal and nursing care to residents
- Medication Administration in accordance with current legislation and standards
- Provide direction and support to Care Workers in their day-to-day duties
- Ensure resident's comfort and dignity is maintained along with their personal privacy
- Actively lead the PRD process for Care Workers
- Contribution to the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of residents care
