Aldgate Pharmacy are looking for a Part-time Pharmacy Assistant who is interested in working in community pharmacy. The candidate will be required to work on Monday, Thursday and Saturdays
You will need:
- A good eye for detail
- Be reliable & punctual
- Exceptional communication skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Ability to multi-task
Some of your responsibilities and duties will include:
- Receive and process prescription orders from customers or healthcare professionals
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Monitor stock levels and place orders for replenishment
- Check the expiration dates of medications and remove expired stock
- Provide excellent customer service, answering inquiries and assisting customers
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Maintain patient records and update relevant information
- Use and maintain pharmacy equipment and technology.
- Adhere to pharmacy regulations, ethical standards, and patient confidentiality
The successful candidate will need to contribute positively to our workplace culture and share a strong belief in our company values.
Pharmacy Industry award penalty and overtime rates apply.
The ideal candidate should have a Pharmacy Background or prior experience.
Suitable candidates will be provided S2/S3 training during the employment.
