Cartage Australia is a family-owned and operated independent tip truck transportation company, specializing in delivering quarry products and materials for the concrete, construction, glass manufacturing, and earthmoving industries in and around metro Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane. Our fleet consists of over 130 late-model Volvo FMX500s maintained under Gold Volvo Contract maintenance to ensure service and vehicle safety. Our operations team utilizes live GPS tracking and timely reports to ensure smooth operations and reliability in every job.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fleet Allocator, located in Clyde North, VIC. The Fleet Allocator will be responsible for coordinating the allocation of vehicles for Major Infrustructure Projects such as North East Link NEL, Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) and Torrens to Darlington (T2D), communicating with drivers and customers, managing schedules, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. The role involves balancing various transportation requests while optimizing the use of the fleet and maintaining high standards of customer service.

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
• Sales experience
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using GPS tracking and fleet management software
• Previous experience in transportation or logistics is a plus
