Bushcare Services is an ecological restoration business with our core focus on rehabilitating natural environments.  We work on a variety of Council bushland reserves and private conservation properties.

We currently have a position available for a Water truck driver to provide support to our revegetation and civil works program.

You should have a good environmental work ethic – which our clients expect, whilst working in sensitive environmental parks and reserves.

The position will include driving trucks and watering native plants. This position will be physical and involve running hoses, pumps and overseeing irrigation systems. Ideally you will have had experience operating a water truck and knowledge of plant/ horticultural practices.

All candidates must be physically fit, able to work independently and have a current truck licence (passing our truck competency process).

Note that this work may sometimes require non related - landscaping tasks and other supporting conservation duties.

Criteria

  • MR (or LR) truck license
  • Appreciation of Horticultural principals
  • Good with pumps, basic repairs and irrigation methods.
  • Qualifications in a relevant trade such as horticulture would be advantageous
  • Qld White Card
