Warehouse PM Shift Supervisor

The facility is designed to handle high-volume retail and online demand efficiently, with automated storage and retrieval systems reducing manual handling and improving accuracy. Sustainability measures, such as energy-efficient lighting and smart resource management, are integrated throughout. The warehouse serves as a major logistics hub, supporting rapid delivery across Australia while showcasing cutting-edge automation technology in modern supply chain operations

For you:

• Leppington location
• Permanent role
• Free onsite parking
• Monday to Friday role
• Afternoon shift role
• $100k - $120k + super (dependent on experience)

Shift Available:

Day:

• 2:30pm – 10:30pm
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

The Role: PM Shift Supervisor

In this role you will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and with the assistance of 4 team leaders you will help supervise a team of 40 + Permanent and Agency labour hire staff across pickers, forklift operators and automation workers.

Your key responsibilities include coordinating daily shift operations to meet productivity, accuracy, and safety targets; monitoring workflow across manual and automated systems; and ensuring compliance with company policies and WHS standards.

You will manage staffing levels, conducts performance reviews, and supports team development. You will also troubleshoot automation or process issues, liaise with maintenance and management teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and overall shift performance

Your main duties will involve:

• Supervise the day-to-day operations, ensuring on-time delivery and accuracy.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse staff to achieve performance targets.
• Daily planning of staff task allocation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment in line with WHS standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to ongoing operational efficiency
• Running onsite toolbox and safety meetings
• Stock control and record keeping
• Managing local and interstate deliveries
• Ensure "Next day delivery" targets are adhered to at all times
• Manage shift change overs with your morning shift counter part a the beginning of each shift
• Induct and train new starters on site policies and processes
• Conduct regular performance reviews with all staff

You will be very hands on and lead by example. You will lead teams across the below areas:

• Receiving and despatch
• Automation centre
• Tote filling, inventory and cycle count
• Ticketing and selection lines
• Picking and packing lines
• Replenishment and putaway lines

The Candidate:

To be successful in obtaining this role you must hold a LF Forklift License and will have the following experience:

• 3+ years Previous Warehouse shift management experience managing teams of 30+ staff
• You will have the ability to follow processes and train new staff
• Strong knowledge of outbound logistics and dispatch procedures
• Proven ability to coach, mentor and direct teams in a logistics environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and maintain a positive team culture.
• Sound knowledge of inventory systems, dispatch processes, and WHS regulations
• You have excellent problem-solving skills and can manage complex priorities in a dynamic environment
• You're detail-oriented and proactive, always looking for ways to improve efficiency and quality
• You have outstanding communication and organisational skills and can build positive relationships across teams
• Automation experience is highly advantageous
• Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-moving setting.
• A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Hold a Valid NSW LF Forklift license and experience in both High reach and Counter Balance forklift operating
• RF Scanning experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent WHS knowledge
