About the role

Rayner and Ryan Roofing is seeking an experienced Metal Roofer/Roof Plumber to join our team in Canberra. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial roofing projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Install metal roofing, including the laying of roof sheeting, flashings and ridge capping
  • Conduct roof plumbing work such as the installation of gutters, downpipes and rainwater tanks
  • Undertake routine roof maintenance and repairs
  • Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and clients to deliver high-quality roofing solutions

What we're looking for

  • Experience as a metal roofer/roof plumber
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret building plans and technical drawings
  • Good communication skills
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Ability to work in a team with limited direction
  • Reliability and honesty.
