About us
AQA was established in 1987 by a group of people with quadriplegia who saw a need to improve access to information, support and employment opportunities for people who had sustained a spinal cord injury (SCI) – particularly quadriplegia. Today AQA continues to provide individualised supports to people with spinal cord injury and other physical disabilities.
About the role
Looking for meaningful, flexible work where you can make a real difference? As a Support Worker, you'll help people maintain their independence and routines through personal support, domestic assistance, and community access.
- Catheter Care
- Peg Feeding
- Domestic assistance
- Community access
- Meal preparation and support
- Accompanying to medical appointments as required
Preliminary roster: Wednesday 7am-3pm and Thursday 7am-11am
About you
MUST be experienced in:
- Bowel and Urinary care
- Abdominal massage & Digital stimulation
- Catheter care
- Manual Handling
