About the role

Goonellabah Dental is seeking a casual dedicated Dental Assistant/Dental Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team in Goonellabah, NSW.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and ensuring the work area is clean and organised
  • Greet and welcome patients, check them in, and manage the appointment schedule
  • Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, booking appointments, and maintaining patient records
  • Sterilise and maintain dental equipment and instruments
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist is preferred but not required. We will provide on the job training. However, a Certificate III in Dental Assisting will be well regarded.
  • Candidates must have Australian work rights as citizens or permanent residents.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a warm and friendly manner
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to efficiently manage the daily operations of the dental practice
  • Proficient in using dental software and other relevant technology
  • Passion for providing high-quality dental care and a commitment to patient satisfaction
