Teleflex Medical has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated and confident Clinical Specialist – Surgical to join our ANZ Clinical & Medical Affairs team. Reporting to the Clinical Medical Affairs Lead, Asia Pacific, the successful applicant will be part of the broader Clinical & Medical Affairs team providing essential clinical support to both internal and external stakeholders. Ideally you will have significant experience in Bariatric surgery or similar procedural disciplines:

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Clinical and procedural training of customers in the use of Bariatric and Surgical focused products.
  • Influence positive patient outcomes through the evolution of clinical practice.
  • Deliver CMA clinical principles & advanced practitioner workshop.
  • Assist with the development and relationship maintenance of Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Provide clinical and procedural support to the sales team and all customers.
  • Assist with and support clinical and procedural training & education delivered by HCPs and clinical faculty members
  • Proactively seek opportunities to attend and present at conferences and represent the business from a clinical perspective
  • Identify and develop opportunities to integrate clinical research into learning resources
  • Maintain clinical credibility and professional registration.

Essential skills and experience requirement:

  • Completed Bachelor Degree or higher in the field of Nursing or Similar
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Bariatric / Surgical environment
  • Must possess strong knowledge and experience in assisting with Bariatric and surgical procedures
  • Registered healthcare provider with no restrictions (current AHPRA registration)
  • Adult learning principles and education experience delivered to both medical and nursing staff
  • Australian work rights required

This a challenging role and will be a key contributor to the on-going success of the organisation. This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne and applicants must possess strong experience in a similar role to be considered for this position. Prior experience in the medical device industry also a plus.
