About the role

dollar curtains + blinds are seeking fulltime Interior Consultants to join our instore team and on-the-road team. As Interior Consultant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and generating sales for our range of window furnishings.

Responsibilities

  • Attending to customers homes for their Free Measure & Quote appointment,
  • Provide a wide range of knowledge of suitable window coverings that would best suit customers home.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers visiting our showroom or via phone/email.
  • Guide customers through the sales process both at their homes and instore, offering expert advice and product knowledge
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Generate new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with our installation team to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process for our customers
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and product knowledge to better serve our customers

Skills & Experience

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the home décor or related industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work full days Monday - Friday 9:00- 5:30 and Saturday 9:00 - 5:00
  • Valid driver's license (full license)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems quickly
  • Enabling positivity in the tougher customer conversations
  • Passion for Interior Design
