Brimbank is continuously growing, with many transformational infrastructure projects about to break ground. A key focus of the coming years will be working with the State and Federal Governments to establish Melbourne Airport Rail; to complete redevelopment of Sunshine and Albion Stations; and the realisation of the Sunshine Precinct Masterplan which will Sunshine transformed into a CBD, vastly increasing local jobs, housing, businesses, services and tourism to provide for the many tens of thousands of people living, working and travelling through the Brimbank.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Permanent staff member to join our team based at our offices in Sunshine.

About the Role

Reporting to the Manager Assets & Property Services, we are seeking a Geospatial Coordinator who can provide technical support and specialist analysis across Council's asset, demographic, and spatial information systems. You will help manage key platforms, develop tools to improve business processes, and deliver insights that support effective decision-making and service delivery for the community.

To be considered you will have:

  • Ability to work in accordance with our values and behaviours
  • Appropriate qualifications or equivalent experience to undertake the tasks.
  • Relevant knowledge of, and experience in the system administration of corporate
  • information systems relating to asset, spatial and/or demographic information.
  • Sound data analysis skills with respect to asset, spatial and demographic information.
  • Relevant knowledge of asset management
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to establish and sustain positive working relationships both internal and external to the organisation.
