Enterprise Subject Matter Expert

*What are we looking for?*
As an Enterprise SME you will play a key role in understanding the various requirements of our approximately 37 product lines across Personal Injury Law and determine how we could build a national approach working to an 80% common vs 20% variance guiding principle. You will engage with and influence various internal stakeholders to determine the approach.
The key responsibilities in this role are
- Business Owner for Precedents Program – develop program, resource, process, S+G Style guide, configuration program into LPS, sign off, etc.
- Business Owner for Limitation/Key Dates requirements – gather requirements by dept and state, determine recommendation for enterprise management, configuration program into LPS, sign off, etc.
- Act as the enterprise expert across PIL to consult our teams, determine consistent ways of working and influence key stakeholders.
- Actively engage stakeholders across Legal Teams, PSR, IT, Finance and Legal Operations to gather requirements, align expectations, and advocate for change.
- Serve as a bridge between users and technical teams by translating business needs and complex legal or technical concepts into clear, actionable requirements.
- Support transformation by promoting collaboration, transparency, and continuous learning through agile and incremental delivery.
- Identify and analyse problems our current processes or systems, developing and implementing solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent communication and alignment across departments.
*What will you bring?*
To be successful in this role you will bring the following
- Proven and in-depth experience in a senior legal support or lawyer capacity
- In-depth understanding of practice group operations and processes including systems and workflow
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the jurisdiction specific to the practice
- Ability to think innovatively and strategically, and follow up with sound and thorough execution and implementation
- Ability to build strong and influential relationships internally and externally
- Proactive work approach
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
