Warehouse Store Person

Cablemakers are proudly Australian-owned and are a leading name in bulk cable management and distribution. With strategically located centres across the country, we support industries from mining and power to government, commercial, and residential sectors.

Our Perth team is on the lookout for a proactive and reliable Store Person to join us full-time. If you're organised, detail-oriented, and enjoy hands-on work in a supportive team environment, this could be your next great opportunity.

Requirements of the role include:

  • Operate cable measuring and cutting machinery with precision.
  • Accurately calculate and cut cable lengths based on meter markings.
  • Prepare and pack customer orders, including handling cable drums.
  • Ensure quality control in receipting and dispatching goods.
  • Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Follow established procedures with attention to detail.

What You'll Bring:

  • A current forklift license and confidence operating warehouse equipment.
  • Solid basic math skills for accurate cable measurements.
  • Ability to stay focused and productive in a fast-paced setting.
  • A team-first attitude with the ability to work independently.
  • Commitment to safety and maintaining a tidy workspace.
  • Willingness to learn and a sharp eye for detail.
  • Physical readiness for manual handling tasks.
