About the role

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team at Platinum Fabrication & Engineering Pty Ltd in Tuggerah, NSW. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and repair of a variety of metal products and structures. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative manufacturing environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate metal products and structures products

  • Operating various metal fabrication equipment such as welding machines, grinders, guillotine and plasma cutters

  • Performing accurate measurements and following strict safety protocols

  • Collaborating with the engineering team to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects

  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving to identify and resolve any issues that arise during the fabrication process

  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

  • Experience Metal Fabricator.

  • Strong proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG & TIG welding

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

  • Able to manufacture products made out of mild steel, stainless & aluminum

  • Familiarity with metal fabrication equipment and tools

  • Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Commitment to safety and a willingness to follow all safety guidelines and procedures

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
