Your new role

You will play a crucial role in modernising the organisation's security framework and help make it more resilient. This important leadership role will oversee the development and delivery of enterprise-wide security services to ensure they align with organisational goals.
In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for:
  • Driving cyber security strategy and operational maturity.
  • Leading a high-performing team and managing external partnerships.
  • Overseeing adherence to industry regulations, policy development, and incident response training.
  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders to embed security into business practices.
  • Managing and participating in the 24/7 on-call roster and acting as the escalation point for security breaches.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Experience working in a SOC across all areas of prevention, detection and response.
  • Must have tertiary qualifications in computer science, cyber security, computer/electronic engineering, or related field.
  • Hold additional Security certifications such as CISSP, CSIM or SECURITY +
  • Experience working on large enterprise security projects – such as SOAR, SIEM, EDR implementations.
  • Excellent communication skills with natural leadership ability.
