About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction. The successful candidate will oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards, and train staff to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the daily housekeeping operations across all areas of the property.
  • Supervise, train, and support housekeeping staff to ensure consistent performance and efficiency.
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
  • Develop and maintain cleaning schedules, inventory control, and stock ordering for supplies and linen.
  • Liaise with Front Office, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor staff performance, conduct appraisals, and manage rosters and payroll submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, and infection control procedures.
  • Handle guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in a Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager role within a hotel, serviced apartment, or similar environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals (with proper safety handling).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and housekeeping management systems (advantageous).
