QA Supervisor

About the Opportunity

Swanson Industries is seeking a high performing QA Supervisor to join our successful team located in Lambton.

Responsibilities will include:

• Taking the lead on all ISO 9001:2015 accreditation & supplier audits.
• Ensuring that the Quality Management System (QMS) is up to date and certification requirements are adhered to.
• Undertaking inspection of components and completed items and reviewing quality related documentation to ensure all product released meets agreed standards and customer specification.
• Ensuring that quality assurance procedures are complied with.
• Engaging with all members of the workshop teams to achieve quality performance standards.
• Preparing and reviewing quality documentation to ensure it is complete and accurate.
• Developing and modifying internal procedures for processes.
• Participating in the training and development of workshop teams.
• Supporting a safe and healthy working environment by compliance with the company's WHS Management System and instilling safe working practices.

About You

• A clear understanding of the ISO9001 Quality Systems Standards and WHS responsibilities.
• Relevant industry experience within a national or multi-site setting.
• Ability to carry out quality management system audits.
• Strong influencing and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong logical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A Fitter/Machinist trade qualification would be advantageous.
