About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our team in Kalgoorlie. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of carpentry and renovation tasks, ensuring all work is completed to high standards of safety, precision, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out carpentry-related renovation and maintenance tasks.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and fit doors, cabinets, vanities, wooden frames, and fixtures.
  • Make repairs and reinstall foundations, walls, floors, fascia, ceiling rafters, and trusses.
  • Install interior and exterior trims, architraves, and skirting.
  • Build and repair cabinets, shelving, and other wooden fixtures used in buildings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine project specifications.
  • Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembly of structures at height.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Inspect existing structures to identify damage or required repairs.
  • Move materials and clean up debris at job sites.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a qualified Carpenter or similar trade role.
  • Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification (or at least 3 years of relevant work experience).
