We are seeking an Executive Leadership Assistant to support the Director Corporate Governance Services and as required for the Manager Governance and Corporate Planning.

The successful applicant's responsibilities will include the co-ordination of directorate activities as well as providing administrative support to council advisory committees. You will work closely with the executive assistant team across council to provide high quality, accurate and consistent reporting, and contribute to continuous improvement processes.

  • Current driver licence
  • Employee working with children check
Experience
Essential
  • A minimum of four years experience in an office based position
Desirable
  • Knowledge of local government and council processes and procedures highly desirable.
  • Successful completion of appropriate certified courses
Key selection criteria 1

Substantial experience in Microsoft packages.

Key selection criteria 2

Strong time management skills, including the ability to respond to changing priorities to produce quality outputs and outcomes.

Key selection criteria 3

Demonstrated high level of personal initiative in an office environment
