ABOUT THE COMPANY

We're working with a highly respected interior design studio renowned for delivering beautifully crafted luxury residential and hospitality spaces both in the UK and internationally. Known for their impeccable design standards, the studio blends timeless elegance with bold creativity. With a growing portfolio they are now looking for an Interior Designer to join their team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative Interior Designer with a flair for luxury aesthetics and a strong grasp of early-stage design. You'll be involved in developing concept designs, FF&E schemes, layouts, lighting, and material selections, working from initial briefing through to completion. You'll play a vital role in transforming client visions into functional & beautiful interior spaces.

DUTIES

  • Work collaboratively on high-end residential and hospitality projects from concept through to delivery.
  • Interpret client briefs and translate them into innovative and functional design proposals.
  • Create and develop mood boards, sketches, sample boards, and design presentations.
  • Plan interior layouts and select materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and lighting.
  • Present ideas clearly to clients and internal teams and then adapt designs based on feedback.
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and consultants to ensure design integrity.
  • Support the team with FF&E sourcing, documentation, and specification schedules.
  • Use industry-standard software (primarily Revit and SketchUp) to produce and communicate design ideas effectively.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of interior design experience, ideally in luxury residential and/or hospitality.
  • Strong conceptual design skills with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Proficiency in Revit and SketchUp is essential; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Enscape or similar visualisation tools is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to present ideas and collaborate with clients.
  • Strong understanding of space planning, FF&E specification, and material selection.
  • A good eye for detail and ability to balance aesthetics with functionality.
  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field.

CULTURE

The studio prides itself on having a supportive team culture where creativity is nurtured, and career development is encouraged. You'll be surrounded by like-minded designers who are passionate about producing award-winning work and senior staff who have a lot of experience to offer. You'll be given the autonomy and tools to grow your skills within a respected design environment.

BENEFITS

  • Opportunity to work on high-profile international projects
  • Professional development and training opportunities
  • Clear and outlined progression plans in place from the first week
  • Flexible working options (working from home & late start/early finish times)
  • Regular team events, design inspiration days, and project showcases
