Disability Dietitian – The Inclusive Team
Are you a Dietitian who is passionate about supporting individuals living with disability?
The Inclusive Team is a growing allied-health provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Our Dietetics team is built on compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based practice. We support children, adolescents, adults, and families across home, school, childcare, community settings, and via telehealth. We are a fully mobile service supporting the Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, and Newcastle regions.
We currently have 2–3 days of work available, with plenty of opportunity to grow into a permanent part-time role in the near future as our caseload continues to expand. The role is expected to commence in February 2026.
Why join The Inclusive Team?
· Be part of a genuinely supportive, close-knit team where your work is valued and your wellbeing matters
· Work alongside experienced practitioners who understand the NDIS and the realities of mobile/community-based work
· Enjoy flexibility across community visits and home-based work
· Benefit from built-in allowances for CPD, professional supervision, and technology
· Access opportunities for career progression as our allied-health services grow
·
Receive support from a leadership team who prioritise quality practice, reflective supervision, and ongoing professional development
What we are looking for
We are seeking a Dietitian who:
· Holds tertiary qualifications in Nutrition & Dietetics recognised by Dietitians Australia
· Is a current APD with Dietitians Australia
· Has at least 12 months' experience in Disability Dietetics (new graduates are welcome to apply)
· Has a passion for supporting individuals across the lifespan with disability, neurodivergence, and complex needs
· Values neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, weight-neutral practice
· Is committed to ongoing learning, reflective practice, and professional growth
· Is confident working autonomously while staying connected to the team
· Is organised, responsive, and proactive in identifying needs and solutions
· Holds (or is willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
About the Role
Your responsibilities as a Dietitian with The Inclusive Team include:
· Providing high-quality Dietetic services for NDIS participants of all ages
·
Supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families across home, school, childcare, community settings, and via telehealth.
· Working collaboratively with Behaviour Support Practitioners, Support Coordinators, therapists, educators, and families
· Contributing to group programs, education resources, and practical nutrition tools
· Participating in peer supervision, reflective practice, team meetings, and CPD
·
Completing clear, concise, and timely clinical documentation
·
Contributing to our social media presence by sharing evidence-based, practical nutrition content
If this sounds like the right fit for you, we would love to hear from you.
