Role Overview:
As a Personal Care Worker / NDIS Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing compassionate and high-quality in-home support. You will assist individuals with a variety of personal and lifestyle needs, enabling them to maintain independence and dignity in their own homes and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Support clients with domestic duties such as cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry
- Assist with medication prompts and health monitoring as directed
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Provide transport to appointments, community activities, or shopping
- Support clients in achieving NDIS goals, such as building daily living skills and participating in social activities
- Accurately document care activities and report changes in client condition
- Follow care plans and work collaboratively with families, allied health professionals, and coordinators
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in aged care, disability, or community support (preferred)
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent (or working towards)
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Current National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid Australian Driver's License and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Working rights in Australia
- A compassionate, reliable, and proactive approach to care
