Supply Chain Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Team Leader to join our manufacturing team located in Crestmead.

The Supply Chain Team Leader is a key person in the manufacturing facility and is responsible for providing leadership and discipline to the factory's Despatch operations and is focused on achieving high levels of productivity and efficiency within a safe working environment.

The Role:

Reporting to the Supply Chain Supervisor, the Goods Inwards Team Leader's primary focus is to:

• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Goods Inwards including ASRS team focusing on safety, quality, people delivery and cost
• Ensure all team members are trained in Oxworks standard operating procedures (including LEAN) and deliver high productivity & accuracy whilst maintaining Oxworks processes
• Provide strong leadership and management to all Goods Inwards, ASRS/Picking employees including coaching, training and development as required
• Focus on continuous improvement, improve efficiency and reduce waste through commitment to LEAN principles, in turn improving accountability requirements by all team members
• Promote teamwork between the departments to ensure all are working to a common goal of exceeding customer expectations
• Promote a harmonious environment with the Q1 Team Leaders to foster a positive and can-do approach to servicing the needs of Oxworks customers above the needs of a single department
• Achieve 100% DIFOT on all Pick Lists whilst ensuring all inbound stock received
• Ensure compliance with legislative requirements in the area of Safety
• Ensure ASRS is compliant with Company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in leading a team within a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A track record of improving safety
• Current Driver's License
• Current Forklift License
• Current First Aid Certificate (preferred)
