Qualified Technician – Homebush Mazda

Homebush Mazda is seeking a qualified Mechanic Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a family-owned business in a recently renovated dealership featuring state-of-the-art facilities, while building a long-lasting career in the automotive industry.

We are seeking a qualified technician to maintain used cars, with a minimum of 2 years' previous experience in a similar role. Pink and Blue Slip authorisation will be highly regarded.

This role requires you to perform mechanical diagnosis, repairs, and servicing of a range of vehicles.

The role also requires you to:

  • Deliver positive service experiences that contribute to customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Perform minor and major repairs, diagnostics, and routine maintenance services.
  • Collaborate with a team of passionate and skilled technicians.
  • Contribute to shaping the next generation of automotive professionals by leading through example and supporting apprentices in their development.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Qualified Automotive Technician (Light Vehicle)
  • Minimum 2 years' previous experience
  • Pink and/or Blue Slip licence advantageous
  • Strong commitment to safety – no shortcuts
  • Current MVTC Licence / NSW Driver's Licence
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Punctual, reliable, and willing to learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience working on light vehicles
