THE ROLE
We are looking for a Diploma Qualified Educator to work at our Reservoir service. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a great team. We would love to hear from you if you have:
- A positive and professional outlook, who is willing to learn and grow
- A passion for early childhood education and a desire to make a difference in the lives of young children
- A strong understanding of the compliance and operational requirements of an early childhood service
- Experience in program planning, including an ability to write comprehensive program plans, observations and learning stories, respond to emergent ideas and document play based learning opportunities using Storypark
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience in early childhood education is required.
- A current Working with Children Check is required for this position.
- An understanding of Reggio practices and an ability to create engaging educational experiences for children
- An ability to connect with, and maintain positive professional relationships with families, children and colleagues
- Strong communication and administration skills to support the Service Director where needed
- A willingness to undertake an ongoing open or closing shift as a Responsible Person (operating hours are 7am to 6pm)
