This is a newly created role for an experienced Solutions Architect to support a complex business transformation project. You'll be stepping into an environment with challenges, unfinished workstreams, competing priorities, and a need for strong leadership to bring clarity, direction and problem-solving.
This role will be instrumental in designing high-level 'to-be' processes, defining organisational structures, and assessing the impact of changes to current operations. Our ideal candidate will have recent Solutions Architect experience specifically around integrating various business systems to meet business needs and requirements. Key to being successful will be your knowledge of multiple aspects of Salesforce (such as Sales Cloud, Field Service, Pardot, etc) or a related technology like Certinia (Financial Force).
Citation Group has experienced significant growth in recent years, largely via acquisition. As a result, there is a need to streamline and integrate business systems across multiple functions including Sales, Service and Finance to support scalability and operational efficiency. The transformation will focus on harmonising processes, consolidating systems, and improving cross-functional collaboration to create a more unified and agile organisation. This role will play a key part in ensuring that future-state business processes and systems are designed effectively to support continued growth and innovation.
Your key activities in this role will be:-
Design the high-level 'to-be' processes and target operating model to facilitate effective solution design
Develop a business capability model that integrates functions across Marketing, Sales, Service, and Finance
Define the future people/organisational structure, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
Conduct an impact assessment to analyse the gaps between 'as-is' and 'to-be' processes and teams
Collaborate with business leaders, stakeholders, project team members and solution architects to ensure transformation alignment
Provide guidance on best practices in enterprise architecture and business process reengineering
Support decision-making by delivering architectural blueprints, process maps, and assessment reports
Provide input on change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes
What are we looking for?
We're on the hunt for an individual with a natural flair for collaboration and communication, able to be hands-on whilst being a strategic thinker and can bring a positive attitude to work each day.
Proven experience as a Solutions Architect in business transformation within a mid-sized business
Strong knowledge of business process design and capability management plus organisational restructuring and change management
Familiarity with frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar EA methodologies
Ability to work with C-level executives, business units, and IT teams to drive transformation
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience in B2B sales environments is preferred
