Role Description:
The Product Data Analyst will be the analytical engine for our Digital Product team. This role is for an individual who thrives on diving deep into data, unearthing insights, and turning them into action. You will act as the critical bridge between product strategy, user behavior, and our technical data teams, with your work directly influencing the evolution of our digital products for millions of Australians.
Experience :
Proven, hands-on experience in a data analysis role, ideally within a digital product, media, or subscription-based business.
A solid understanding of statistical methods and their application in analysing large datasets.
Responsibilities:
Own the narrative of our audience performance, providing the Product team with the critical metrics, trends, and actionable insights needed for strategic decisions.
Develop and maintain clear, concise dashboards and reports in tools like Looker or Tableau to communicate trends and opportunities.
Go beyond surface-level metrics to deliver actionable recommendations that drive product strategy and growth.
Conduct deep-dive analyses into user behavior across platforms and brands.
Proactively identify opportunities, risks and trends by interrogating data.
Translate business questions and product goals into detailed data tracking specifications and implementation tickets for Data and Engineering teams.
Collaborate with technical teams to own data integrity and the successful implementation of standardised metrics and tracking.

Technically proficient: Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools such as Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
Data-driven approach to decision-making with a strong analytical mind and a keen eye for detail.
