About the Role
This role focuses on providing expertise in modern iOS native development, particularly using Swift, for the myBupa mobile app. The candidate will collaborate with feature teams to develop new features and maintain existing ones.
The role involves designing end-to-end solutions and reviewing others' designs to ensure they meet operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Work within a scrum team to code, analyze, design, and support the myBupa mobile application and related features.
Identify process and system improvements, especially in native iOS Swift development.
Collaborate with team members, provide mentorship, and lead development activities when needed.
Assist in feature estimation and act as a SME for the mobile team.
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Conduct system analysis and design activities with proper documentation and estimates.
Ensure technical designs align with architectural principles and adhere to coding standards.
Perform manual and automated testing to meet quality and compliance standards.
Ensure deliverables meet quality requirements.
Qualifications
Typically a tertiary qualification in IT or related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in iOS native Swift development.
Experience with Objective C, Java, Kotlin, or .Net Xamarin is a plus.
Knowledge of REST services and Azure is advantageous.
