**Position Information**:
Wiripaang Public School is a K-6 school, located on extensive grounds and provides extra curricular opportunities for our students to connect, succeed and thrive. Our school has a strong sporting focus and positive connections with Hunter Sports High School. Technology is embedded in all classes with one to one devices for all students. Our student body averages around 200 students each year which includes students in our support unit. Our school has a FOEI of 192 and has approximately 35% of students that identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and a growing number of students have English as Additional Language or Dialect.
Wiripaang Public School receives substantial resourcing which is strategically aligned to our SIP, delivering expert teachers and engaging consultants to provide precise instruction on student achievement.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Approval to teach infants and primary.
- A highly inspirational and collaborative leader who utilises their strong interpersonal skills to foster positive and inclusive relationships with staff, students and community.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate who school technology programs and practices that enhance student well being and engagement.
**General Selection Criteria**:
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
- 2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs- 3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams- 4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents- 5.
