**Pay**: $80,000 - $90,000 + super

**Hours**:Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm

**Who the company is**

This is a fulltime permanent position working directly for the company we are recruiting for. You are looking at an organisation that are well known as a large national transport 3PL carrier that have been in operation for over 20 years and employ over 100 staff nationally.

Being set as an attraction business that have an enviable list of major name clients, this business are a cut above the rest with highly advanced IT platforms that enable them to cater to the most exclusive in-demand e-commerce customers that are ruling the Australian transport market, as well as our other general interstate and local movements.

They service a variety of industry verticals from e-comm, fmcg, consumer goods, construction, electronics, merchandise & much more. The services they carry their transportation through is road, air, sea & courier from their warehouse facilities.

**The position**

This is a prized position in their QLD operation which is the DC Manager. This role will see you working alongside the operations team but in a management capacity, your job is to ensure efficient, safe & smooth flow of operation in the warehouse for both inwards and outwards movements.

Your main functions will be:

- Oversee the pick pack, receiving & dispatch
- Keeping on top of warehouse operations
- Team management across various admin staff, storemen, forklift & your 2IC
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Ensuring time management on delivery partners and drivers
- Coordinating times and dates accurately
- Ensuring daily deadlines and timelines are met
- Develop and maintain efficient workflow
- Ensuring tidiness and upkeep of the facility
- Record and reporting activity
- Approx 10,000 sqm of warehouse

**The experience needed**

To be considered for this role you ideally have had Supervisory or Management experience coming from a Warehouse environment where you have managed staff and operations.

If you are coming from any closely related role in 3PL, transport, warehouse, dispatch or logistics management.

The individual qualities needed for this role are:

- Experience in warehouse team management
- Good knowledge of warehouse operations
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to allocate and direct tasks to the team
- Experience dealing with transport service companies
- General experience and knowledge of freight
- Ideally exposure to 3rd party logistics
- Strong eye for details
- Ability to adhere and implement strong process and procedure

**This is a Brisbane based role and you will require full Australian working rights.**
