Position: Casual Medical Receptionist

Hours: Flexible, including weekdays and occasional weekends

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Casual Medical Receptionist to join our busy GP practice. If you have excellent customer service skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, we would love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

- Greeting patients and managing appointments
- Answering phone calls and handling inquiries
- Processing billings and Medicare claims
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and accurate records
- Assisting doctors, nurses, and other staff as needed

What We’re Looking For:

- Previous experience in medical reception (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Proficiency in medical software (e.g., Best Practice or similar) is an advantage
- A caring and professional attitude towards patients and colleagues

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
