Associate Director

Our Insights, Communication and Creative team is seeking a highly experienced **Associate Director** to join our **Canberra **/ **Sydney **communications and engagement practice. As a key member of the local team, you’ll leverage your network and experience to assist in generating leads to win, plan and deliver projects in NSW/ACT and provide your expertise to support projects nationally as required.

Confidently pragmatic, you’ll leverage your extensive experience to help our clients engage with their stakeholders and communities, lead projects and mentor our talented team of communications and engagement professionals.

It’s a great opportunity for a senior practitioner with proven experience in communications and engagement to be part of a growing team and make a mark on some of Australia’s biggest projects.

You will be part of a dynamic, diverse, supportive and tight-knit team that prides itself on solving the problems that matter. As a senior member of the team you will have opportunities to support the New South Wales and ACT State Lead in providing thought leadership across the communications group.

**ABOUT YOU**

You will have demonstrated experience (10+ years) in developing and delivering communication, consultation and community relations strategies, and responding to issues associated with the planning and delivery of infrastructure, major projects. programs and strategies You will also have:

- Track record of excellent project management and delivering high quality work, autonomously
- Demonstrated ability to establish trusted relationships with clients and partners.
- Excellent skills in managing relationships, teams, projects and issues.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and work co-operatively with people of all levels to achieve outcomes. An affinity for working on several projects at once or experience in the consulting environment is highly desirable.
- Experience in the property, water, energy or transport sectors is desired.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
