Master Groups Pty Ltd specialises in building, refurbishment, and maintenance of commercial and residential properties in the Sydney North Shore. We are a full-service company providing fencing, landscaping & gardening, pool fencing, concrete services, tiling, painting, plumbing, electrical, and rendering services. We work with clients of all sizes, from large corporations and government bodies to small enterprises, and are dedicated to managing maintenance services, renovations, and new building projects for both residential and high-end commercial properties.
We are looking for a Project Officer to join our growing team. The Project Officer will be responsible for facilitating and supporting the successful execution of our building, maintenance and refurbishment projects. The duties include:
- Support the coordination of project activities to help ensure they are completed on time and within budget
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including budgets and progress reports.
- Prepare and communicate project updates and reports to the project team and stakeholders.
- Assist with monitoring project schedules and budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
- Provide general administrative support to project teams.
- Assist in conducting project reviews and evaluations.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure objectives, scope, budget, and timeline for multidisciplinary projects are met.
- Prepare project documentation, including progress reports and risk assessments, to ensure transparency and mitigate risks in multi-disciplinary construction projects.
- Coordinate project activities including fencing, landscaping, concrete work, plumbing, painting, rendering, tiling, etc., to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
- Utilise tools and methodologies to facilitate program administration, such as Gantt Charts and Work Breakdown Structure, to create project timelines, establish critical paths, and prioritise activities based on project schedules
- Utilise Microsoft Project software to manage construction projects.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings between project stakeholders to discuss deliverables, schedules, and conflicts.
- Relevant education/qualification or work experience in lieu of formal education
- 2 years of work experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail
- Construction industry knowledge
- Ability to carry out a range of tasks and good organisational skills
Pay: $77,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
