The **Women’s & Children’s Health Network** provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia. We are the state’s leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA’s largest maternity and obstetric service.

Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.

**The Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Newborn Hearing Screening Program team as **Manager Statewide Newborn Hearing Screening Program **in a** full time** capacity,** for 12 months.**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, Allied Health, the Manager Newborn Hearing Screening will provide leadership and strategic direction to the South Australian Newborn Hearing Screening Program (NHSP).

In this role you will:

- Coordinate the South Australian Newborn Hearing Screening Program (NHSP) for all infants born in public and private South Australian Hospitals, including those that require follow-up
- Manage all aspects of operational, strategic, service development, human, financial and physical resources allocated to the NHSP
- Monitor and manage NHSP performance and reports on performance against agreed indicators to internal and external stakeholders
- Provide high-level expert advice, professional leadership and advocacy at a state and national level on newborn hearing screening policy issues and national benchmarks

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Exceptional ability to plan, lead, implement, evaluate and manage complex projects within the framework of the corporate objectives and in consideration of operational, political, financial and strategic issues.
- Excellent written and verbal skills with high level ability to articulate and present complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Ability to identify, analyse and conceptualise problems to formulate and execute appropriate solutions and present high level written reports.
- Extensive experience in managing projects, staff, business plans and budgets within a large and complex organisation.
- Demonstrated substantial experience in implementing strategies at a regional, state or national level.
