**Service Lead - Housing and Homelessness**
Our mission is open hearts and **bold** strides.
We have an exciting opportunity to work as a Service Lead in our Housing and Homelessness team.
The Service Lead - Housing and Homelessness is a key management role responsible for achieving outcomes to clients through our Model of Care. As a Service Lead you will be a member of the management team supporting the General Manager of Housing and Homelessness and providing leadership across a team of professional health care and community delivery staff in your area of specialisation. You will lead a diverse team, ensuring outcomes and performance indicators are achieved within the resources available.
This role has a direct focus and impact on the attraction and retention of Aboriginal staff, providing advice and support across housing and homelessness services and the continual improvement of people-related structures and programs from a cultural lens.
This exciting new role will drive opportunities for Aboriginal employment, development and retention including career pathways across Ruah.
This is a full time, permanent position (38 hours per week), Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am-5pm. The role is based in the Perth Metro area with a requirement to visit different Ruah office locations as applicable.

**What do we offer?**
- An opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team
- A competitive salary of $95,000 - $107,942 depending on experience
- 16 weeks paid parental leave, with flex to take at 32 weeks half-pay (uniquely, new staff can access 4 weeks paid parental leave after just 6 months’ service).
- 10 days paid family and domestic violence leave.
- Salary packaging up to $15,900.

Specialist experience and selection criteria
It is expected that the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated experience in leadership and management roles in the human services sector, with exposure to the housing and homelessness area being well regarded.
- Demonstrated applied knowledge and experience across the areas of data analysis, risk management, financial management, including an ability to prepare budgets, business plans and funding submissions.
- Demonstrated high level of cultural competency with an ability to support and build culturally safe work environments focused on improving client outcomes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including public speaking, with highly developed interpersonal skills and an ability to influence others.
- Ability to work independently when required, as well as in a team, collaborating with other staff and stakeholders to share information and collectively build knowledge.
