Are you seeking an opportunity to make an impact in the cooking and catering area? Camp Manyung are seeking Kitchen Assistants to join their team, overlooking the beautiful Mornington Peninsula.
**About Camp Manyung**
Camp Manyung is a recreation camp located in Mt Eliza on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, and managed by YMCA Camps. Catering to schools and groups year-round, the team at Camp Manyung run a variety of programs and activities to suit every group, from snorkelling and kayaking to archery and raft building. Featuring a state-of-the-art recreation centre, flexible and accessible accommodation and picturesque outdoor areas, Camp Manyung is the perfect place to explore the great outdoors.
**About the Role**
As a casual Kitchen Assistant, you will work within the catering team to ensure all campers receive delicious meals during their stay. You will be responsible for:
- Preparing and providing food for campers, including the coordination of special diets
- Assembling and preparing ingredients as required
- Upholding the values of the YMCA at all times
As part of the catering team, you will undertake duties required to ensure all camp meals are delivered effectively and safely.
You will be required to have knowledge and understanding of kitchen operations and an ability to work as part of our kitchen team as a team player.
