**Machine Operator**
- Full time casual start with view to long term permanent position

- Rotating day & night shifts
- Rocklea location

**The Company**:
Machine Operators required to join our client who are a global, market leading aluminium packaging manufacturer for the beverage industry, based in Rocklea. Reporting to the Shift Leader, you will primarily be setting & operating high speed production machinery. Additional duties will include assisting with troubleshooting and basic maintenance tasks, all whilst maintaining high quality and safety standards. **The position requirements include, but are not limited to**:

- Setting & operating high speed machines and performing changeovers
- Troubleshooting, making machine adjustments and basic maintenance tasks
- Reading & following SOP’s
- Strictly following all required safety procedures

**Training is provided, but to be considered for this role you will ideally possess the following**:

- Printing industry or die setting experience - highly advantageous
- Proven experience in a high speed industrial or FMCG environment
- Proven machine operating experience with a strong mechanical aptitude
- A current forklift licence
- An understanding of GMP and 5S manufacturing principles
- A team player mentality with a positive, self motivated and proactive attitude
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with a high attention to detail
- Flexibility to work extra hours and perform ad hoc duties as required

**Hours & rates**
Rotating 12 hour shift roster, days & nights.

Casual rate: $33.37 per hour + shift loading + overtime.
