**Who are we looking for?**

Due to an internal move, we are pleased to seek expressions of interest for a **Business Group Leader - Energy & Resources.**In this key role, you will be working closely with our Operations Manager, Market Leaders, multi-disciplinary management team and our international network of technical specialists across our diverse business. You will realise opportunities and ensure sustainable performance and growth from our established and high performing E&R team comprising over 25 professionals in electrical, mechanical, process & multi-disciplinary design management and project management roles. You will be responsible for technical and commercial outcomes on local and national renewables, power and industrial projects and play a key role in developing our people in line with GHD’s values and purpose.

You will be a proactive, collaborative and motivating leader, able to get the best out of your team as mentor and coach. You will have d emonstrated skills in project and financial management and be capable of winning and leading multi-disciplinary projects.

**Offering a variety of responsibilities, you will be involved in**:

- Building a strong business development and winning work culture, with effective positioning and pursuit of large and strategic opportunities and expanding GHD's presence and market share.
- Developing and empowering a high performing and passionate team of talented professionals to reach their potential
- As part of the regional management team, championing the regional strategy, creating and achieving business plan objectives and targets and roll out of locally based initiatives.
- Leading the commercial direction, risk management and governance on projects.
- Being part of an employee-owned global enterprise
- This leadership position could offer the potential to become a shareholder and Principal of GHD in the future.

- The ability to create and foster an enviable professional network of SA’s energy and resources sector leaders and decision makers
- Effective and proven business development and strategy, networking and client relationship management skills.
