We are seeking a highly motivated
**Cost Control Coordinator** to join our friendly Ocean Freight team in Alexandria NSW.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure completeness of all incoming and outgoing vouchers and timely closure of cost control activities
- Ensure invoices are created in the system by relevant operational departments for non-invoiced or incompletely invoiced job files
- Formally record the operational departments' explanation for all job files showing a loss
- Follow up with relevant operational departments on unbalanced pass through amounts to ensure amounts are balanced
- Complete activity "Audit Cost Control" in the system
- Deletion cost accruals in the system as applicable

**Competencies and Skills required**:

- Experience in ocean freight forwarding industry
- Knowledge of ocean freight tariffs and ancillary charges
- Advanced computer skills
- Effective communication skills and professional communication etiquette
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time
- Attention to detail and accuracy
