**The Position**

**St John of God Berwick Hospital, **has a total of 202 beds, eight operating theatres, a cardiac/vacsular laboratory and six birthing suites. provides a wide range of services caring for inpatients, outpatients and day patients across a range of specialties including maternity, medical and surgical; offering state of the art equipment and facilities to our rapidly growing community. Hospital has a 16 bed Critical Care Unit with 6 dedicated Intensive Care beds and 10 Cardiac/HDU beds. Our aim is to deliver the very best in health care at our Kangan Drive Campus.
- We are looking for Catering Distribution Supervisor. This position will oversee all food and beverage services of the hospital, including patient food services and the cafe. You will lead an already high performing team into an exciting period of innovation and transformation, including the introduction of ala card room service.

- This position is on a Permanent Full Time basis, working 76 hours per fortnight.

- Completion of Basic and Advanced Food Handling Courses to meet the food safety supervisor requirements.
- An understanding of and commitment to maintaining standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to lead and coordinate a team environment.
- Well-developed organisational skills, with an ability to manage your own workflow and cope with competing demands.
- Ability to provide leadership, and supervision to all staff effectively and in accordance with Policy and procedure.
- Able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Well-developed interpersonal and effective leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to recognise, support, develop and utilise the skills and commitment of staff.
- Commitment and ability to engender team work.
- Good written, oral and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse group of staff and relate to our patients and customers.
- Developed computer skills with a working knowledge of a range of MS Office Packages.
