THE OPPORTUNITY

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process across a range of roles of varying seniority. You will be required to attract, engage, and close talent via active sourcing techniques and direct channels such as job adverts, social media, referral campaigns and search work.
- Aim to fill a minimum of 8 vacancies per month using internal leads, networks and talent pools.
- Be a reliable partner and adviser to business leaders by developing and driving strategies to recruit top talent in highly competitive labor market landscape
- Ensure staffing needs are filled in a timely manner
- Build diverse talent pipelines using creative sourcing methods including referrals, online sourcing and events
- Organize and facilitate interview debrief sessions encouraging rich, data-based feedback and thoughtful discussion in supporting the hiring decision
- Take the initiative to look beyond current role openings and identify strong industry talent
- Commit to and demonstrate customer service
- Utilize communication and organization skills within a multi-tasking environment to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies across a diverse community
- Measure and report on sourcing and recruiting metrics (ex. source of hire and time-to-fill)
- Participate in employment events such as university, military, and community career fairs, if needed

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

**To be successful in this role, you ideally have**:

- 5+ years’ recruiting experience. Ideally this experience would be internal recruitment as opposed to agency recruitment.
- Experience sourcing for sales, engineering, IT, and professional-level roles
- Experience sourcing for technician and skilled labor roles
- Recruiting exposure across Oceania and Asia
- Globally aware - exposure to centralized model of reporting and collaborating with international colleagues
- Relentless drive to find and connect with the best talent, and a proven track record for assessing talent beyond matching keywords on a resume
- Advanced sourcing experience using LinkedIn, Indeed and other databases
- Strong organizational skills to balance a requisition workload
- Understanding of the local employment law as it applies to hiring and interviewing
- Understanding of Visas and working rights
- Experience in high volume recruitment
- Forward thinking and independent
