**Hiring an Experienced Team Leader for SDA/SIL House**

The purpose of this role is to provide appropriate leadership to a team of talented support workers to help deliver safe, timely, focused care and to ensure optimal outcomes for all stakeholders involved.

About the role:

- Lead, supervise and guide disability support team members in supporting our SDA/SIL clients with a person-centred approach in achieving and working towards their goals
- Inducting new team members into SDA/SIL houses
- Preparing monthly reports to management
- Ensuring team member compliance with supports, SDA/SIL processes and procedures
- Collaborate with management to identify team member training requirements
- Collaborate with management in scheduling SDA/SIL client appointments in advance
- Oversee day to day operations of the SDA/SIL house
- Coordinate, plan and execute workflow activities
- Coordinate office personnel work activities in line with strategic goals
- Ensure the smooth running of the team on a daily basis
- Provide feedback, coaching and training to facilitate personal and professional development
- Manage staff schedules and delegate work
- Chair staff meetings to provide opportunity to give direction and discuss areas for improvement
- Ensure workplace materials and documentation are maintained in line with legal obligations and best practice standards
- Supporting clients during the morning/afternoon/night
- You will be involved in the clients' evening and morning routines
- Completing household tasks such as cleaning, ironing, laundry during the night shifts
- Flexibility to work with short notice providing coverage for staff who are unable to work on the same day or week

**Experience**:

- Disability support work: 2 years (preferred)

**Education**:

- Certificate IV or Higher (preferred)

Licence:

- Australian driver's licence (required)
- Australian National Police Check (required)
- First Aid (required)
- Working With Children (WWC) Check (required)
- Must be vaccinated against Covid 19

**Language**:

- English (required)

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $38.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift

Supplemental pay types:
